Huw is a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERCM professional and has been working in the financial services profession since 1999.
As Proposito’s senior financial planner Huw currently oversees the financial planning process and has particular expertise in taxation, investment planning and pensions.
He is a graduate of Cambridge University where he gained an honours degree in Natural Sciences before studying to become a teacher. He went on to teach A-Level mathematics in one of the country’s top grammar schools for four years before starting his financial services career.
Huw is married to company marketing manager – Jo, and has two children – Dylan and Eirlys
Huw describes himself as a ‘maths and physics geek’ , but when not working with numbers he devotes his time to his other passion – rugby. He is a qualified rugby union coach and puts local club Minety 1st XV through its paces twice a week. If he’s not coaching then he’s standing on the side lines watching son Dylan run in the tries.
