More about me
Jade has been on quite the journey since joining us in December 2018 – having gone from Technical Assistant, to Trainee Financial Planner and now a Financial Planner.
Jade has worked within the financial planning profession since 2013 and her exposure to (nearly) all the roles available within the profession, means that she has a comprehensive understanding of how everything fits together.
She completed the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning in August 2021 and has spent the last 18 months completing internal training whilst also building on her soft skills. She has embarked on undertaking her Chartered exams in order to further expand on her knowledge.
She has already immersed herself into her new role as a Financial Planner and is looking forward to meeting people and helping them to achieve their goals.
Alongside this, Jade also heads up our marketing and new business development.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
The versatility of my role means that I get to do lots of different things. I love meeting and speaking with clients, but I also love getting my head down and doing more of the technical work too.
If you could give one single piece of advice to someone approaching financial planning for the first time, what would it be?
To be open and willing to share your concerns with us. We are here to help after all and the more we know, the better we can help. In return, we too promise to be open, fair and transparent in everything we say and do.
When you’re not at work, where are we most likely to find you?
You’ll either find me at home in my safe place, spending time with my partner, friends and family or playing netball for my two awesome teams!
What one thing can you not get through your day without?
Laughing. A day without laughter is a day wasted.
Tell us something people might be surprised to know about you…
I have a degree in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of Gloucestershire.
