Russ joined Proposito in 2015 following an extensive career in the financial services industry. He is a Chartered Financial Planner with experience at a number of large accountancy firms and a large UK life insurance business.
Russ specialises in working with business owners, helping them to create the financial independence needed to enjoy the retirement they want. He is an expert in pensions and investments, as well as life and critical illness cover. Russ has an in-depth awareness of the challenges that family business owners face; his expertise lies in financial planning that helps people achieve the lifestyle they originally went into business to create.
Russ is the host of ‘The Family Business Podcast’ and has written a book, ‘The Three Circles of Succession’.
Russ’ two daughters Mia and Isabel keep him and his partner Shelly on their toes.
Away from spending time with family, Russ enjoys cycling, cooking and wine. He’s also an avid reader. If you have any recommendations, let him know; he’s always looking for good books to add to his list.
All financial advisers in the UK must be registered on the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) register and hold a valid Statement of Professional Standing (SPS). In an age where financial scams pose a real threat, it’s important to make sure you don’t take financial advice from anyone who doesn’t appear on the FCA Register or hold a valid SPS.
