No we didn’t win the prize for the largest and best marrow at the recent Malmesbury Garden Club Show, but then again we didn’t actually enter.

However Proposito Financial Planning were involved with another local event –  the inaugural Minety Rugby Club Beer Festival.  We were delighted to sponsor a barrel of local beer entitled ‘Best in Show’.

This new event on the Minety calendar was organised to raise funds for the senior and junior sections of the rugby club as well as help towards the cost of providing a defibrillator for the village. The event proved to an outstanding success, providing plenty of fun and games for all ages and a few sore heads in the morning as well as raising a fantastic sum of money.

Minety Rugby Club is  close to Proposito’s heart  as it is Director Huw Jones’ ‘other’ place of work. When he’s not ‘financial planning’ he’s coaching the Senior side on a Saturday and taking his children to mini rugby on a Sunday!
