Market Summary: 14th October 2011
The FTSE All Share index, representing the performance of all of the eligible companies listed on the London Stock Exchange has finished the week at 2,821.04, an increase of 31.90 points on the day and 86.06 points higher than its 2,734.98 opening value at the start of the week.
So far this year the FTSE All Share index, which accounts for approximately 98% of the UK’s market capitalisation, has gone down 241.81 points from its’ opening price of 3062.85 at the start of trading on 4th January 2011.
