Festival in full swing

We were delighted to be one of the sponsors of the Minety Music Festival for a second successive year last weekend (29th June 2018 – 1st July 2018). This year the festival, which began in 2017, had two stages hosting over 40 bands across the three days and boasted headliners Bon Giovi, Neville Staple (The Specials, Fun Boy Three) and the one and only Chesney Hawkes.

The festival is run by entirely by volunteers, most of whom come from Minety. They work tirelessly throughout the weekend to make this event happen. One of the stars of the show again this year was our client Matt Bray who compared the ev

ent for the entire 3 days. Needless to say he was a little horse by the time Chesney Hawkes finished on Sunday evening.

Minety Festival is a not for profit festival and all surplus profits go to charity. This year the charities were Wiltshire Air Ambulance, Combat Stress and Naomi House & Jacksplace Hospice. Preparations are already underway for next year’s extravaganza with the headlines acts already booked (but still a secret). We’re looking forward to being involved again despite moving out of the village in July 2018.

Once again the whole Proposito team decided to camp en-masse with our families and we had a brilliant weekend. The weather was amazing and we even had time for a photo or two. We’re already looking forward to next year’s festival.
