Expect a few more probing questions in your annual refine meetings in 2019. Both Huw and Russ have beefed up their skill set.

Russ now holds the Advanced Certificate in Family Business Advising from the Family Firms Institute (FFI). He is the only Chartered Financial Planner in England and Wales with this qualification. This is a fantastic achievement and a just reward for his hard work. He is already doing some great work with family firms as a Consultant as well as financial planning for the owners and other family members.

These skills are already complimenting his financial planning work as Russ is able to offer a much more collaborative approach to financial planning.

As if that wasn’t enough Russ is also the host of The Family Business podcast. He has over 50 episodes with nearly 30,000 downloads. Check it out here – it’s a good listen.

Not wanting to be out done done Huw has also been busy. He is currently part way through the Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring for Professionals from the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). Huw’s coaching is being used by entrepreneurs and business leaders and is helping them to improve in a particular area, unstick a difficult problem or make an important decision that they’ve been struggling with – or all three!

As if that wasn’t enough Huw is also putting the finishing touches to his life planning skills. Having completed the EVOKE training course with the Kinder Institute he is well on the way to achieving the internationally recognised Registered Life Planner designation.
