Our 2021 Charity Donations

Our 2021 charity donations

During 2021, we have been working closely with The Churn Project who are a local charity based in Cirencester.

Belonging, purpose and hope are at the heart of all that The Churn Project offer the people who come through it’s door.  They help to find practical solutions to life’s issues alongside the vulnerable and marginalised people across the Cirencester community who seek support.

They work with those who are lonely, at a point of transition or crisis in their lives, or those experiencing mental health issues.  They support people through difficult times.  People who have been supported by The Churn Project say that their wellbeing is improved, and it makes them feel less isolated.

Sadly, given the restrictions, we haven’t been able to interact with the charity in the way that we would like to but we have been able to raise awareness and we have also raised funds during our Steps Challenge back in the Summer.

For those of you who don’t know, instead of sending Christmas cards each year, we opt to make a charitable donation to a worthy cause.

This year, we have decided to split our donation in half and donate to a local charity and also a more wider known charity.

We have selected The Churn Project as we would like to continue supporting them, and we have also selected Macmillan, as this is a charity that is close to all our hearts.

We are delighted to support these great causes and our donations will help them to continue with the wonderful work they are doing.  We will also be raising awareness for both charities in 2022 so keep your eyes peeled.
