Our Credentials 

The purpose of this post is not to brag about our credentials and awards, but rather give you an insight into how seriously we take the financial wellbeing of the people we work with.

We would like to think that by demonstrating and being recognised for the levels of care and attention needed to benefit from these accolades you will feel confident in the services we can offer to you and your clients.

We are amongst just a handful of companies across the UK that have been awarded Chartered Status from the Chartered Insurance Institute, Accredited Firm Status from the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (following their merger with The Institute for Financial Planning) and awarded a British Standard kite mark (BS8577) for our services.

We are very proud of each of these accolades, more so given our relative size. It is far easier to not adhere to the requirements needed to achieve these accreditations as they are not minimum standards.

Our advisers are also Chartered Financial Planners, meaning that they have had to demonstrate knowledge across a broad spectrum of financial planning subjects. Again this is in excess of the minimum standard required but we believe that our clients deserve the best possible service.

We are a firm of chartered financial planners. This means we have satisfied rigorous criteria relating to professional qualifications and ethical good practice. British Standard in Financial Planning – BS8577

Proposito was only the 15th firm in the UK to be awarded BS 8577 – Framework for the provision of financial advice and planning services by Standards International (www.standardsinternational.co.uk).

BS8577 is a British Standard that assesses and awards financial planning firms who can demonstrate that they have the operational framework to deliver a first class service to their clients. The service that we provide to our clients is of the utmost importance and in order to benchmark our service and internal processes against the British Standard of best practice the business entered into a rigorous process of assessment.

This means that having successfully undertaken a rigorous accreditation process, you can be confident we offer a financial planning service which meets the highest standards.
