Real life gets in the way

By Anne Manning

Why is it that some of the things we need to do always get put to one side?

It is totally normal for this to happen with life, but why is that?

Financial Life Planning can be one of those items that we just don’t pay enough attention to.  However, how much better does life feel when you are planned and organised for the week ahead.  Life seems to go smoother and everything is a little less painful.

However, if there isn’t planning – then chaos seems to reign supreme.  The exact same thing happens with your finances if there is not a good Financial Life Plan.

Jim Rohn said : – “If you don’t design your own life plan, chances are you’ll fall into someone else’s plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much.”

We all want to achieve something in life and your finances are no different.

Planning how you want to save or spend your money is key to achieving a semblance of calm and optimism in life.

It is very easy for life to take over, the house needs cleaning, the kids need taking to an activity, the dog needs walking.  But, if you stop and plan your financial life in the way you plan your everyday life – you can feel a great sense of achievement.

Knowing that your life ahead is focusing towards something, rather than working endlessly and not feeling sure of what you are achieving.

Financial Life Planning can have such a fantastic impact.  It can be the cornerstone of how you approach work, home and the balance you wish to strike in life.
