Hello, I’m Debbie, and I’ve been a client for just 18 months. Huw Jones is my advisor.

Well, I was looking for someone to help me manage my financial affairs after my husband sadly passed away.

My husband and I had numerous pension pots and lots of ISAs all over the place. I needed to get my house in order and find some help and support, to know that I was making the right decisions, and just bring everything together. So, I wanted an overview of everything so I didn’t have to keep worrying about reinvesting money or making sure it’s in the right place.

Somebody at work referred me to them, actually. I got in touch and had a chat with Huw, and it went from there.

I spoke to two or three different financial advisors, but there was an instant rapport with Huw. I felt that he understood what I wanted to get out of it, and he felt like a safe pair of hands, and someone I could trust.

I felt like I’ve built a good relationship with Proposito over the past 18 months. They’re always really responsive, and they get back to me the next day. If they’re going on holidays, or if something’s going to take them a little while, they let me know. It’s just really nice to have that personal contact and knowing that I’m dealing with the same people all the time.

The three words I would use to describe my experience would be very trustworthy, supportive and just a lovely team to work with.

It’s such a weight lifted off me really, knowing that my house is in order and everything’s in one place. It’s just so easy, if I need to switch funds. Huw did a risk assessment with me, so I know that the funds are all invested in something that suits my appetite for the risk.

The best thing about working with them is they’re a small team, so it’s like a family and you’re always dealing with the same people. They’re always helpful and responsive, and I completely put my trust in them.

I think the best piece of advice I got was helping me to see that it was going to be so much better using their platform. It’s a little bit of a change in the way I’ve been used to handling my financial affairs, but I trusted them that it was going to make a huge difference. And it really has.

I would definitely recommend Proposito, just because they are so down to earth. They’re on my level and I think that they will be flexible towards your needs. And they’ll support you, but they’re not pushy. They will support and help you, and are such a lovely team to work with. I completely trust them. So, I would definitely recommend them.
