This year the Budget will be on 23rd March 2011.  That’s two weeks before the end of the tax year on 5th April 2011. 

Don’t leave your tax, investment and retirement planning until the last minute. Your wealth might suffer if the Government moves the goal posts.

The pressure on the Government finances will undoubtedly mean more pain from the Chancellor of the Exchequer in his second budget. The only problem is we don’t know what is in his sights.  By the time we  do know it will almost certainly be too late to capitalise. 

So don’t put any action off until after 23rd March. Take advantage of Government allowances now because they might not be around for long. As with many things in life you snooze, you lose.
