Paying for Value

By Huw Jones

ValueFor anyone that has ever travelled on the Peage Toll road system in France you will understand that, compared to trying to get anywhere in the UK, the experience is a pleasurable one.

Not much traffic, no road works and a higher speed limit. What’s not to like? In fact its mile after mile of easy driving albeit at a price.

When it is time for a break there are plenty of services. Each one  wonderfully clean with a superb array of  freshly made food ready for consumption in spotlessly clean café areas.

But something doesn’t quite stack up here. Why are these roads so empty when the driving experience is so quick, pleasant and easy?

Why aren’t more people taking advantage of roads almost devoid of traffic and cones?

The answer, is cost. It appears some people are simply not prepared to pay for a service that gets them to exactly the same place as one that is available for free. They don’t see the value of getting to their destination sooner, more relaxed and in a better frame of mind.

It’s the same with financial planning. Not everyone wants to pay and that’s fine.

But there are a number of people who understand that there’s an alternative route. One that gets them to their financial destination sooner and with much less stress along the way and all they have to do to enjoy the superior journey is to pay for it.

If you don’t want to go on the Peage you don’t have to. But if it gets you where you want to go sooner, with less stress and fewer hold ups wouldn’t it be worth the cost?

Proposito Financial Planning only work with a small number of people, all of whom understand and appreciate the real value that arriving at their financial destination sooner (and with less stress) can bring to their life.
