Watch out for scammers

By Jade Shelton

Scammers are sadly still at large and despite the current climate, its sad to believe that there are still people out there who insist on exploiting innocent people for their own gains.  Take care and be vigilant because it’s happening on a daily basis.

There are the obvious ones, text messages from HMRC asking you to collect your tax rebate and the outrageous pension scamming, but there are now also text messages from Royal Mail claiming that they are withholding post until a postage fee is paid.  These are just a few examples of the most common scams affecting everyone within the UK.

Back in April 2020, we published an article on how to stay safe from some common scams, click here to read this now.

Remember: be careful about what you are clicking on and if it’s too good to be true, then it most likely is.
