Hello! My name is Jo, and I’m delighted to introduce myself as the new Practice Manager at Proposito. As I write this I’m just finishing up my fourth week, and I already feel part of the team and have several projects on the go.

My career journey to this point has always centred around IT, whether it be in digital product management, eLearning, client relationship management or transformation. Most recently I spent 11 years working at the Chartered Institute of IT, as Data Governance Manager, driving best practice across the organisation as well as ensuring the organisation’s compliance with GDPR.

At Proposito, I will be picking up many of the business operation responsibilities, freeing up Huw and the rest of the team to focus on the technical financial tasks.

For those of you who have been clients for some time, you may realise that I’m not really a ‘new’ member of staff. I’m Huw’s wife and worked for Proposito previously for four years from 2009. So, I’m back in a different capacity, bringing many more years of experience…as well as a few grey hairs.

Outside of work, things have changed a great deal since I last worked here. The children are all grown up, Dylan at University in Exeter and Eirly’s currently enjoying a gap year on the other side of the world, before starting at Loughborough University in September.

So, we have a ‘slightly’ slower pace of life, but our cocker spaniel Milo has become the new ‘child’ of the family and life now revolves around him. He has also become an official member of the Proposito Team and is a regular and ‘excitable’ presence in the office, so if you are visiting you may even get to say hello to both of us.
