I’ve just spend the morning with a client. Nothing unusual there you might think but it wasn’t the typical review meeting. That’s because the subject of the meeting wasn’t his finances but the Proposito Financial Planning annual review document!

The client in question is an experienced scientist and has just retired from a multi-national pharmaceutical corporation. He is well versed in analysing and presenting data and his input was invaluable. It’s always great to get feedback about how we can do things better. We’ll be discussing his ideas in detail and looking to incorporate them into our documentation over the coming months.

When the main focus of your professional life is helping others, it is very touching to be on the receiving end. The feeling you get from knowing that someone cares enough to want to spend time helping you improve is fantastic. Today I feel like a winner.
