Workplace Pension Reform – Staging Dates

The date that an employer will be required to comply with the workplace pension reform is called the “Staging Date”.  This date is determined by the size of the employer’s PAYE scheme.  The staging date is the latest that an employer must comply with the legislation.  Those employers with less than 30 employees will have their staging date determined by the last two characters of the PAYE scheme reference.
