More about me
Sarah began working at Proposito in 2008. She has more than 20 years of financial services experience, starting out as an office junior and then becoming an administrator, a paraplanner, an adviser, then going back to working as a paraplanner (“the best job!”). She has worked in small, family-run firms as well as large nationwide chains.
She oversees the firm’s technical delivery, working closely with Huw and our clients to ensure they have everything they need to keep their plans on track.
Her day-to-day role as a paraplanner involves analysing client data, researching financial products, developing recommendations for clients, and building complex financial plans. In addition to keeping a close eye on technical developments and regulatory, legal, and legislative changes that impact our clients.
In addition, she is responsible for putting processes in place to ensure we are running as efficiently as we can and continue to do so.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Helping people see through all the noise of paperwork and jargon and what they have and how they can use it to achieve their goals.
If you could give one single piece of advice to someone approaching financial planning for the first time, what would it be?
Remember, we are here to help.
When you’re not at work, where are we most likely to find you?
On warmer days, in the garden or at the beach. On chilly days, by the fire watching a film or doing some crafting. At any time of the year, going for a walk in the countryside with my husband.
What one thing can you not get through your day without?
A coffee first thing in the morning.
Tell us something people might be surprised to know about you…
